So, the Lead-from-Behind-Leader enjoyed making jokes
about ISIS, back in January, behind closed doors and the joke was, "if a
jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn't make them Kobe Bryant." I don't know if you played sports in High
School, but I did. I started on the JV
team and we all looked up the the Senior Varsity team.
We knew we were the babies, the weaker team, but we'd one
day "grow up" and be the "big kids on the block." So, this is how Obama saw ISIS? CNN's Jim Acosta saw his opportunity to throw
it back in Josh Earnest's face, so he asked Press Secretary Josh Earnest if Obama still
considered ISIS the "JayVee team," now that we're bombing them in
Iraq.
The Question:
“Did the president underestimate ISIS when he refered to them as JV team.
The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a JV team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant,” he said. “I think there is a distinction between the capacity and reach of a bin Laden and a network that is actively planning major terrorist plots against the homeland versus jihadists who are engaged in various local power struggles and disputes, often sectarian.”
bothered to tell them that? This just proves that not only is Obama not taking ISIS/ISIL seriously, but he doesn't take our National Security seriously. If this is who he considers the Javee team, who, pray tell does he consider the Senior Varsity team?
