"We are Darren Wilson"

By Elizabeth Nelson

What would you do if you were a white man/woman that had your face beaten in by a black 6'4," 300 lbs man on drugs and had evidence of that fact and not even a day after you shot the person who did it, not only the community you lived in but the national media and your Government automatically decreed that the person who did it was the innocent and you were the guilty party, before all the evidence was even collected?  If that weren't bad enough, because of that, now you and your supporters have to live in hiding because you're receiving death threats.

Darren Wilson supporters in Ferguson have had enough.  Not only are they are receiving death threats, but their family members are also, to show exactly what their "support" of a "white man" is getting them.

Supporters of Darren Wilson — the white police officer who killed 18-year-old black man Michael Brown — rallied in St. Louis, MO, Saturday, with their de facto spokeswoman delivering a statement but declining to give her name.

"The news media has shown a strong bias against Wilson and his supporters."

"Many of us have received death threats against ourselves and our families,”

“Contrary to media suggestions we are not affiliated with any hate groups.”

“We will not hide, we will no longer live in fear.”

“At the end of this statement the media will inevitably ask for my name,” the woman said. “You want my name– my name is Darren Wilson, we are Darren Wilson.”

[applause]

Out of all of the people in Ferguson, you would think that the black people would be the most sympathetic and compassionate, because they are the ones that preach oppression, rush to judgment,  wrongful prosecution, racial bias and lynching based on the color of one's skin.

Oh wait, isn't that what we have here with Darren Wilson?  At no time have we heard that Wilson ever said, "'N-er', stop or I'll shoot you," "damn thugs always get away with it," or that he ever had any racial animus or racist proclivity what-so-ever.  So, we don't have an "innocent until proven guilty" mindset, but we have a "Federal Civil Rights Case" with no evidence that it was ever racially motivated, except the one racist ideal that was created by and propagated by the media and citizens of Ferguson, now it's "white until proven innocent, no, just lynch his ass."

  1. Every single person, who is demanding the immediate arrest and prosecution of Darren Wilson, is simply a lawless vigilante that hides behind the faceless, nameless power of the mob. They want to immediately go to the execution of Wilson without the inconvenience of having to through any of the multiple legal hurdles to be overcome to gain a conviction. They are nothing but a mob seeking to trample the judicial process. They are the greatest enemy of justice that I can imagine.

  2. the thing that slays me the most, these same people in the 60s were crying "injustice, unfair racial prosecution, this is a lynch mob." We have the angry democrats, but the only thing we are missing are the burning crosses and white hoods.
