Oh the Vegans are up in arms about Whole
Foods Market in Northern California and Washington, D.C. offering their
customers rabbit meat, which their customers actually requested they stock, for
a few years, and they've been selling for this meat for a months now.
For many years, lots of customers have requested that we carry rabbit. But first we needed to ensure the rabbit we sold would be consistent with WFM’s high animal welfare standards. As most rabbit production is grim, we set out to develop our own set of animal welfare standards, which began a rigorous four-year process to address the welfare issues in rabbit production. As we have done in the past, our hope is that our standards will be a model for industry change.

The welfare-focused standards
we developed at Whole Foods Market, are designed around their instinctual
behaviors and include more than 75 species-specific requirements that ensure
the overall health and well-being of the animals.
But you see, the liberal vegans aren't happy with the standards of the store, because all they see are the fluffy bunny. They claim that "bunnies are pets, and we can't eat people's pets." Yet, they didn't have a problem voting for Obama, a man that ate his best friends dog, now did they?

I had to agree,
rabbit is tasty and if you don't like it, you don't have to buy it. It's
not like they are putting a gun to your Vegan head and forcing you to shop at
Whole Food Market, shop at another super Market,it's not as if it's really
"Organic" anyway. Support your local farmer.
Oh wait, they
are "killing" their "pet" cows, chickens, and pigs.
Why do vegans care what
"meat" is being sold, they don't eat the "meat" anyway.
I guess they'll go after farmers and people
that own chickens, pigs and cows as pets next, and then go after people from
Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Japan and China where they eat cats, snakes, monkey and dogs is a delicatessen.
