Netanyahu Goes to School

While Obama was quietly getting on a plane bound for Europe and dodging reporters wanting a statement about ISIS' latest American beheading, Netanyahu was welcoming First Graders and blessing them on their first day of school, during their latest ceasefire.

Today is the first day of the new school year in Israel. More than two million elementary through high school students headed back to class today, including 149,705 first graders.

Some of those first graders had a very special visitor today: Prime Minister Netanyahu. He greeted students in Sderot, a town located close to Gaza that’s been bombarded by Hamas rockets throughout this past summer.

Thankfully, the recent ceasefire has allowed Sderot’s children to start the school year on time and get back to their normal routine. Let’s keep all of Israel’s students in our prayers for a safe and productive school year! Read more International Fellowship
