We've often watched people try to make the stoic Buckingham Palace Guards crack a smile, so, do we think the Queen Mum is laughing at her Guard pirouetting and showing off off his funky pop-lock dance moves for the crowd watching? I thought it was funny, but I'm American.
Come to find out, while she was out of town the cats and the guards to play to break up their boredom and now this guard is under investigation for entertaining the tourists. The Queen is out of town but that doesn't mean Buckingham Palace soldiers can let down their guard.
Spectators outside the gilded gates may have been
entertained, but the Army is not amused. The Ministry of Defense confirmed he
soldier will be disciplined.
"He is there to guard Buckingham Palace not provide horseplay for tourists," a senior military source told the Daily Mail, adding that he will likely face confinement to the barracks or see his pay docked.
"We are aware of the video," an Army spokesman said in a statement. "Anyone who is found to fall short of the Army's high standards can expect to face appropriate action."

Buckingham's standards are high,
but attainable, and their policy is set in stone and he knew what they were
when he took this position. The Royals aren't like Obama, they will do
what they say they will do, I have no doubt about that.
He broke the
rules, while the Queen was away. She may look at the video and find it
amusing and give him a new position as palace clown or funky dance instructor, but he won't serve as her Palace
guard.
Moral of the story:
Actions have consequences, something our Administration would be wise to learn.
