Clay Aiken Calls U.S. Troops "G.I. Joe Soldiers"

  1. What Aiken fails to understand is that by the time ISIS becomes a "direct threat" to U.S. soil, it will be too late. The U.S. government, no matter which party is in power at any given time, must understand its role in the world as the #1 super power. Obama has tried to shrink away from that role, but trying to deny it is simply delusional. I don't like the idea of U.S. military forces engaging enemies around the world, but I would prefer them engaging enemies there, rather than here, and these enemy forces will surely come here in the face of what they believe is our national loss of will to fight for what we believe in.

The U.S. has enjoyed the mantle as the super power and economy of the world. With that mantle comes great responsibility. The U.S. cannot expect to remain the singular super power in the world while avoiding its responsibility of defending its position in the world community of nations, especially those nations that look up to the U.S. as their guiding light and ally. Withdraw from the world and the U.S. will shrink as a power and as an economic force in the world. 314 million Americans will suffer as a result.

  2. So true Obama is just waiting ISIS out and hoping it will be ANOTHER President's problem, if Ebola and the Enterovirus don't kill us off first.
Many in our Country have become a neo-isolationist and have jumped on the Rand Paul band wagon. Unfortunately, we are seeing what a world without America and her "strong arm" looks like. Putin giving us the finger, ISIS now sneaking over the border (oops, is no one paying attention), Ebola outbreak now coming to America like a horror movie, a respiratory virus & TB coming back after 40 years, Iran still trying to go Nuclear, Israel openly criticizing an American President. We're going to hell in a liberal hand basket.
