I think Obama has spent way too much time on vacation
and not near enough time in the real world, if he truly believes his own B.S.,
that Al Qaeda is "decimated and on the run." Especially when everyone
keeps telling him ISIS IS al Qaeda and AQAP aka al Qaeda in Yemen has just taken over a Yemen
military base, after beating them down for two weeks. Yet, this
is supposed to be our "model against ISIS and is our US success
story?"
The White House insisted Monday that the U.S. counterterrorism strategy in Yemen is a model for the fight against the Islamic State -- despite the country being engulfed by a violent political crisis that last week led the Obama administration to remove some of its diplomats and urge American citizens to leave.

The developments -- including
the firing of a rocket near the U.S. Embassy in the country's capital over the
weekend -- again have raised questions about President Obama's plan for
targeting Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria. Continue

Taking rocket attacks, at our US Embasy, much like Benghazi? This doesn't sound like a "secure" success story to me, does it sound like one to you?

Obama loves to "rewrite his history," I couldn't agree more. Yet his parrots will help him by eatting this crap up like a bag of dehydrated fruit and mixed nuts and won't think twice about regurgitating it and praising him for his "Yemen success;" it's nauseating. My 8-year-old Congo African Grey makes more sense, when he does the same thing repeating information he over hears.
ReplyDeleteOMG! You have an African Grey Parrot, the smartest in the parrot family with the largest vocabulary potential. I always wanted an African Grey, but as time slipped away and we were rescuing cats and dogs, it just got away from me. Plus, when I have taken in a cat or dog it has been with the thought that I would be their "forever home", meaning I would be there for them all the way to their end time. Parrots can easily live 50 years or more, which means I should have adopted an African grey a long, long time ago. Anyway, congratulations on your feathered family member. You have the time and family to take care of that feathered friend for its lifetime. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Riff-Raff is amazing. I grab my keys and he'll say, "good bye" I turn out the light, "Good night," I sit on the couch, "Whatch doin? come here, give me a kiss, I want a cookie." ROFL he's a hot mess, but a charming mess. Oh yeah, and a FLIRT! Don't walk out nekkid, it'll be a wolfwhistle and "I love you" ROFL
ReplyDeleteI have a houseful of animals, but if he outlives me, my son is going to take him. He tolerates my son and my husband, he's a great bird. :)
