Obama to Army Couple: "Move Your Wedding, I'm Playing Through & I'm more Important Than Your Wedding Day"

We all understand that nothing stands in the way of Obama and his playing golf. For instance, he was back to playing golf immediately after his speech on James Foley's death, he'd rather golf than attend Maj. General Harold Greene's funeral, and he went golfing right after he decided he'd send our military into action against Syria, because "Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons on civilians."

So, is it any shock to any of us that he would have total disregard for our men and women in our armed services, when it comes to his golf game. He told two of our Army Soldiers, due to get married in 24 hours, that they would have to move their wedding venue, due to him, because they were "in his way," and he selfishly wanted to "play through" the scenic wedding spot that they had chosen, before he had started his vacation.

One couple wanted to get married, but President Obama wanted to play golf.

Army captains Natalie Heimel and Edward Mallue Jr. knew Obama was headed to Hawaii for the holidays, so on a whim, they extended him an invite to attend their Dec. 28 wedding — one he politely declined. That same day, they were informed they would have to move their wedding location.

The wedding was set to be at the 16th tee box at Kaneohe Kipper Golf Course on the Marine Corps Base in Hawaii — a favorite of both Mallue and Obama.

“It was kind of ironic they got the letter from them and then, within hours, they were told they had to be moved due to him,” Jamie McCarthy, Mallue's sister, told Bloomberg Politics. “It was emotional, especially for her — she’s the bride and in less than 24 hours they had to change everything they had planned.”

Naile Brennan, manager of K Bay Catering who oversaw the wedding, said anyone planning an event at the course when Obama may be in town is warned of any potential last minute scheduling changes — thus, they had other wedding spots ready to go. Read more Washington Examiner

The wedding does have a happy ending, but that doesn't absolve our Narcissist-in-Chief  from his abhorrent behavior.  If he were white, he'd be gutted and filleted for this disrespect.  

I'll remind you about all the guff President Clinton got for blocking 2 LAX runways; why the populist President tied up one of the country's busiest airports to have his hair trimmed. Everybody Does It? 

However, making two of our soldiers move their once-in-a-lifetime wedding, oh, that's okay; because it would be politically incorrect and racist to object, right?

The couple eventually chose a lawn near the home of Col. Eric Schaefer, the commanding officer of the base — not quite a golf corse, but it had a view near the 16th hole. After Bloomberg asked Obama officials about the scheduling conflict, Obama called the bride.

“He apologized and congratulated them,” McCarthy said, who said they had a “wonderful talk.”
