Are Thugs Really This Stupid? Jacksonville Fire Department Threatened

By now, unless you're a total infantile ego maniac, everyone understands there is a war on cops.  That in itself has caused an apprehension that has caused them to slow down their response time on calls and understandably so.  If you got yourself in that situation, get yourself out.  Now we have thugs attacking another set of heroes, Firemen.

This all seemed to start here before Christmas when they decided to target and do a drive-by and shoot up Station 28, injuring one of six firemen refueling the engines. Now these thugs are targeting and threatening my station, one of the nicest stations in town.

Jacksonville police are investigating a verbal threat made toward firefighters in Oceanway Tuesday night, two weeks after a firefighter on the Southside was injured from a shot fired in a drive-by attack.

Fire Chief Marty Senterfitt said he was told the Sheriff's Office called fire dispatchers to report having received the threat, but Senterfitt said he had no other details.

"It was something about, 'You don't know when I'm going to strike,' Wyse said. "It wasn't anything specific like I'm going to blow it up or shoot."

Wyse said no violence was directed at the station or toward firefighters anywhere else overnight. Jacksonville police launched an investigation, but Wyse said he didn't know details of the police response.  Read more Jacksonville.com

Seriously?  Thugs can't claim that firefighters discriminate and ask a homeowner's race before putting out a burning home or pull them from a horribly mangled car.  

So these are the men thugs want to threaten, our Firefighters, men that never think to ask "is this homeowner black, white, yellow or green" before willing running into your burning house to pull you and your children out.

Yet now, every day they'll start their shift, instead of focusing on their job of saving other people's lives and property, you'll make them worry about if they are going to die of a bullet wound the moment they show up on scene or when they get to their station, instead of smoke inhalation or burns? Now there's something they didn't learn in the fire academy.  

Maybe the Policemen should talk to the firemen? "If you started the fire, with the intent to harm cops and firemen, you can get yourself out; maybe then we'll show up and put it out so your neighbor's house is safe."  Firemen have families and want to go home at the end of their shift as well.  They didn't sign up for this job to get shot at, ambushed and killed by hate-filled criminals.  

    

So, if you want to keep your local firemen safe, which keeps you and your home safe, report your local thug-life-gangster who feels embolden to do harm to firemen and policemen, this behavior has to stop.
