"War-on-Women in the White House" Jarrett Confronted - "Obama's NOT Paying Women Equally"

Did anyone catch our First woman President on the Morning Joe? I don't watch that liberal crap, by now everyone knows I get emails from the White House and a few other DC officials, including Jarrett herself, and this clip of it hit my email and it's just too good not to share. 

We've all watched Obama blame the GOP for, not paying women for "equal pay for equal work."  It's all their fault that "men get paid more than women."  How barbaric, the GOP are behind the times. “If Republicans in Congress want to prove me wrong, if they want to show they in fact do care about women being paid the same as men, then show me,” he said. “They can start tomorrow.” Read more Politico


There's only one problem, and this won't come as any huge shock to anyone by now, Obama is the largest hypocrite in the free, communist and socialist world, and Fiorina calls Valarie Jarrett out on the fact that Obama isn't even leading on this issue and putting his money where his mouth is.

Fiorina: "I am struck by the fact the president hasn't really led in this regard. He's not paying women equally by his own measures in his own White House. And I am also struck by the fact that the single greatest impediment to equal pay for equal work is this seniority system, which pays not on merit, not on performance, but on time and grade. And who is it who supports the seniority system? Unions, government bureaucracies."

Jarrett responded with a whopper:

"Let's unpack your question a little bit. So, first of all the first question and last question, let's weave them together: in the White House women do earn equal pay for equal work."

I did a little digging and according to a report by the Washington Post in July, men get paid 13% more than women in the Barack Obama White House:

The White House has not narrowed the gap between the average pay of male and female employees since President Obama’s first year in office, according to a Washington Post analysis of new salary data.

The average male White House employee currently earns about $88,600, while the average female White House employee earns about $78,400, according to White House data released Tuesday. That is a gap of 13 percent.

In 2009, male employees made an average of about $82,000, compared to an average of $72,700 earned by female employees — also a 13 percent wage gap.

One of the key reasons is that more men hold the higher-paying, senior jobs in the White House, and more women hold the lower-paying, junior jobs.

Today, there are 87 male White House officials who make more than $100,000, compared to 53 female White House officials. The gap narrows, but persists, at the highest echelons of the White House. Among the most senior officials, there are two more men than women.

Paying the people in the White House

Obama has made pay equity a central cause this year. He has pushed for hiking the minimum wage in part because it would especially benefit women, and he is advocating passage of legislation that would give women more opportunities to learn whether they are being paid a wage in line with their male peers.

“This is not a women’s issue, this is a family issue,” Obama said last month in Pittsburgh. “Women now bring in close to half of all income, and there are a whole lot of families out there where the woman is the primary breadwinner.”

White House officials say that even if the aggregate statistics show a gap, men and women in the same roles at the White House are paid similar amounts.

“At the White House, we have equal pay for equal work,” said White House spokeswoman Jessica Santillo. “Men and women in equivalent roles earn equivalent salaries, and over half of our departments are run by women.”

So, this is typical of the Obama Administration, "do as I say, not as I do." Not leading on increasing the salaries of the women in his employment or even equaling out their pay.  Dare I say it, creating a War-on-Women within the White House? Then he bashes the GOP for "not wanting to help on job creation" yet refuses to get rid of Obamacare, the number one Job killer and masticator of small businesses in America.
