2014 didn't end well, we witnessed cops targeted, getting shot at, killed, intentionally run over by idiot thugs in cars and beat up as they attempted to
arrest criminals. So, with this new War on Cops pattern forming, sadly, how
would we have expected Jamal Rutledge, a Fort Lauderdale, Florida teen arrested for criminal mischief
and burglary, to react after he witnessed his arresting officer drop to the
floor from a heart attack?
Officers passing by heard the noise and responded, administering CPR and using a defibrillator to electronically stimulate the officer's heart.
In a statement, Fort Lauderdale police say medical staff later said that Rutledge's actions and the officers' quick response were largely responsible for Officer Foulks surviving the incident.
Young Jamal Rutledge will be
recognized for his actions at a ceremony next Wednesday.

a teenager whose quick thinking is being credited with helping to save the life
of the officer who arrested him. Read more CBS News
Now, doesn't that
just help restore our faith in humanity? Kudos to Jamal's parents, sure he made some bad decisions, but some of their upbringing must have stuck. "Train up a child in the
way he should go,
Martin Luther King said it best, "Judge a man by the Content of their Character not
by the color of his skin."
Sadly, far too many
people today look at skin tone and choose to overlook the person's
actions and character, because their actions and character make them feel
uncomfortable or just don't fit their script and agenda.
"When
someone shows you who they are, believe them." Kudos to
this kids parents, they raised him right, because it doesn't matter if you're
black, white, yellow, or brown, what matters is if you're acting like a human
being. #AllLivesMatter
