While everyone was all abuzz about Super Bowl deflategate XLVIII, and watching
to see if the patriots had deflated balls and if New England had the Right Stuff
to beat the Eagles with the right balls, I'm sure everyone missed the
historically inaccurate interview our no-balled occupying president gave Savannah with the Today show. They are seen touring the White House Kitchen
and then proudly Obama but inaccurately touted that he's the first president since Washington to Brew Beer In The White House https://youtu.be/WZlzY6hsNh0
By now, we shouldn't be surprised that Obama enjoys changing history, just by speaking the words into existence
and by proclaiming himself at the top of historical change. However, he's far from the
first, since Washington. There have been four Presidents before Obama and after
Washington:
Madison, the fourth president
of the United States, is best known for being the “Father of the Constitution,”
but he also played a hand in protecting and promoting beer production in young
America.
Though occurring before his presidency, Madison promoted the idea of
taxing imported beer and ingredients as a source of revenue for the new,
struggling country, and to give domestic breweries a fighting chance in the
beer market. Contrary to popular belief, Madison most likely did not propose
appointing a Secretary of Beer to the presidential cabinet.
It took more than twenty years
after the end of Prohibition for brewing beer at home to become federally
legal. Jimmy Carter, America’s 39th president, signed H.R. 1337 on Oct. 14,
1978, which contained an amendment sponsored by Alan Cranston, creating an
exemption from taxation for beer brewed at home. This exemption officially went
into effect on Feb. 1, 1979. Read more Homebrewer
Why is this statement significant?
Because the gaffe went unreported and uncorrected by any of the media. However,
had this historically incorrect statement come from a Republican President,
like Reagan or Bush, the media wouldn't have hesitated to jump all over
it. They never wasted an opportunity to
point out "look how stupid Republicans are."
Yet, when a Democrat says
something stupid or inaccurate we don't dare hear a peep out of them, let alone a correction or God forbid they flip the script and mock him. Just like we didn't hear them mock or correct his "57 states," or "Corpse-man," right?
Oh no, they look the other way and pretend it never happened, because they
can't go against the image they've formed in their head and have shoveled down
their libtard viewers throats.
"Obama is a genius demi-god, makes no
mistakes and is the best president in American history."
