Bat-Shi*-Crazy-Pelosi: "Civilization As We Know It Would Be In Jeopardy If Republicans Win The Senate"

By Elizabeth Nelson

Nancy Pelsoi told Bill Maher that"Civilization As We Know It Would Be In Jeopardy If Republicans Win The Senate."  Bill Maher did say something funny and insightful when he retorted, "this and ISIS are threatening civilization. Oh,no."

He also made a comment, which is true, that no one votes, to come out and say "thank you," but only Angry people come out to vote, and that we get the party we deserve, to which Pelosi said, "oh I think we have smart people out there." Seriously? Look what they put in the White House.

Nancy looked at him, in her typical blank style, when Maher made the comment,
"Republicans were considered the warmongers. But it's Joe Biden that says 'we need to chase ISIS to the gates of hell.'
I don't see the Democratic party sticking up for the alternative view, I don't see them being the voice that says maybe we should sit this one out. Maybe we shouldn't have to choose between the man that uses the poisonous gas and the one that beheads people; maybe we don't have to be in every war."

[no, we'll just wait for ISIS to get stronger and show up here and bring the war to us. Aren't Liberal Isolationists entertaining? It's the mentality, "Don't kill that poisonous snake in your yard, catch and release it, it won't hurt anyone, it'll thank you by not coming back, having babies, or hurting anyone else." ]

Of course, Pelosi responded the way Obama would, "Let me just say that I agree with you. War is not a way to resolve conflict, it just begets more war, but the fact is"
Watch the exchange below:

MAHER
: I want to ask you about this election that's coming up because now the campaign has been kicked off. Nate Silver said the other day it looks like actually the Republicans are going to win the Senate and everyone was like 'Oh, no, they're going to win the Senate.' My question is what would change? There's the filibuster there anyway, they don't pass anything. It's completely gridlocked. What do I care if they lose the Senate?

PELOSI: It would be very important for the Democrats to retain control of the Senate. Civilization as we know it today would be in jeopardy if Republicans win the Senate.

MAHER: This and ISIS are threatening civilization. Oh, no.

PELOSI: Yeah, it is really important. But let's not put ourselves to the stipulation that we're not going to win the Senate. Let's instead work really hard. The fact is that it's all about turnout and many people want to support the Democrats. We just have to make sure that they turn out for the election.
It's always sad, when liberals try to rewrite history to suit their own purposes and in doing so, say one thing, and get away with it, yet when Conservatives say the exact same thing, we are called Racist, Domestic Terrorists, and now Threats to Civilization?

So, how did Bush, Clinton and Reagan get things done with a split congress, and the other party controlling it?  I have one better for you, I seem to recall that in Obama's first term, not only did he have a united Congress but his party controlled it and what did he get accomplished, oh wait, that isn't totally fair.  During his first term, with his Democrat Controlled Congress, he did close gitmo, and passed Immigration reform, Obamacare, and Fair Tax; yeah, I didn't think so.

So, the next time a liberal tells you the Republicans are "obstructing the Democrats from getting anything done in Congress," and that "Obama can't get anything done with a Republican Controlled Congress," remind them that he didn't get anything done with a Democrat controlled one either because, like it or not, it's about to be united again under the GOP and Obama built that.
