Glimpse at the Making of a Real Leader - G.W. Bush Summed up ISIS in 3 Words

By Elizabeth Nelson

On Wednesday, while speaking at the University of Mary Hardin–Baylor, former President Bush started discussing his time in the White House and the things he learned as President. Listening to him, I sure miss having an America-Loving, humble President that doesn't have a problem poking fun at his weaknesses, and also one who doesn't have a problem taking decisive action calling a terrorist by their name, while sacrificially serving our country.  However, as he put it, "it's no sacrifice in serving something you love and I love the United States of America."

Regarding Putin, "in life you have to know how the other person thinks, because he deals with a big country.  If you want to understand what a person is thinking, listen to what he's really saying.  Like Putin, when he looked at Barney, 'my dog is bigger and faster than your dog.'"

"I learned to listen, even to those I didn't like."

"I leaned that there are universal truths, there is an Almighty. He gives us the desire to be free and deep in everybody's soul is the desire to live in a society where our opinion matters."  [11:00]

"I learned that people learn a stereotype based on faulty knowledge.  I did write two books, and the reason I tell you this is because I am on a Government pension and I'm hoping you'll buy them." [15:00]

"I based my decisions on principals in History, not to change it but in context of history" [17:10]

"Live life to the fullest, you never know what you can do until you try" [26:00]

Then, all the cameras had to be turned off for a question and answer session, where Former President George W. Bush was recorded and captured; and he summed up the reality of ISIS in just three words, words that will never escape Obama's lips:

"Evil is Real."

“There is no light grey. . . Murdering innocent people to move a political point of view has been, is and always will be evil.”
"When the Pressure is off, they strike, to scare those of us that believe in Freedom."

However, even as true as his statements are, if I had been there, just as Obama has "evolved" on Gay Marriage and now on War [Libya and now ISIS] I would be interested to ask Bush if, now that he has more evidence and knowledge, if he has now "evolved" or if he still thinks "Islam is a Religion of Peace," or were those just words his speech writer suggested he say?

Former President George W. Bush Reveals with Much Class Shows How ISIS Teaches a Hard Lesson About Iraq War

By Elizabeth Nelson

President George W. Bush gave an almost prophetic speech in 2007, one that Obama should have listened to, when he warned about the dangers of leaving Iraq too early: the region could become a safe haven for terrorists, could result in mass killings, and would require that the United States return there in the future.

Fox News reporter Brian Kilmeade sat down with the President at his fourth annual tournament for Wounded Warriors to discuss life after the presidency, the importance of honoring our nation’s veterans, and the ongoing situation in Iraq with ISIS.

Given that he had so accurately predicted what might happen in Iraq, Kilmeade asked Bush what he'd do, and he could have taken the opportunity to criticize the way things have unfolded. However, even he thought better than to " have a former President bloviate." Now that's class. What he did say instead was so much better, and a side of a leader that is missing today.

George W. Bush ALS Ice Bucket Challenge - VIDEO

By Elizabeth Nelson

President  GW Bush took the Ice Bucket Challenge, bringing awareness to ALS, and we watched him write the $25 completion check, right then.  We have Jenna Bush Hager, Rory McElroy, Woody Johnson, and Coach Jim Harbaugh for the Ice Bucket Challenge, and we can't forget our amazing Lady Laura W. Bush for dumping the Ice and writing her $100 check, because she didn't want to "ruin her hairstyle."

In a cell phone video posted to his Facebook page Wednesday morning, Bush says although he's been challenged multiple times, he's reluctant to follow through, I can't say that I blame him though.  Obama was challenged by quite a few people over a week ago and still hasn't followed through.

Watch the full video below.

"I've been challenged by multiple Americans to bring awareness to the ALS campaign: Woody Johnson, our daughter  Jenna Bush Hager, Rory McElroy and Coach Jim Harbaugh,"

"To you all who've challenged me, I do not think it's presidential for me to be splashed with ice water, so I'm simply going to write you a check,"

Mrs. Laura Bush apparently had other ideas. Later in the video, she sneaks up, mid-sentence and dumps a full bucket of water over GW.'s head, saying, "That check is for me. I didn't want to ruin my hair style."

Staged? Oh, definitely. Still hilariously adorable? Absolutely. GW Bush has now challenged fellow former president and friend Bill Clinton to the challenge. Clinton turned 68 Tuesday. Bush said, "my gift to Bill is a bucket of cold water."

Oh, Remember when we had a real America Loving President and a Real Lady in the White House?  Oh, he wasn't perfect, but he was real, we were safe, and he loved this Country. Next up, in the Ice Bucket Challenge, President Bill Clinton.
