Bailey's Pizza Parlor 10% Church Discount gives Atheist's Indigestion

So, now a 10% discount is "discrimination," not marketing, if this private offers a discount to church's that show their church bulletin on Sunday.  Thanks to the busy body group, Freedom from Religion, who are crying "religious discrimination."

An atheist group is going after a small-town Arkansas pizza place for offering discounts to customers who brought in church bulletins on Sundays.

Wisconsin-based Freedom from Religion Foundation sent a letter to Steven Rose, the owner of Bailey's Pizza in Searcy, Ark., warning him that his pizza parlor's offer to knock 10% off churchgoers' tabs amounted to discrimination, local KTHV-TV reported.

The nonprofit claimed the self-described "old school country" restaurant was violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which requires business to offer services regardless of race, color, religion or national origin, the group said.

Rose told FOX News he was stung by the threat.

"It was a straight-up marketing tool to give a discount to people I love and care about, and have them come in and have lunch with me," he said. "I thought it was a sweet idea."  Read more NYDaily News

So, since this 10% discount is considered "discrimination," then it must also be discrimination to the Veterans, teachers, college students, police, and Senior Citizens that he gives discounts to as well, right? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, and if one group loses their discount, they must all lose their discounts.

Unfortunately, since the busy-body Atheists have gotten involved, this kind-hearted business owner has received death threats and a bomb threats.  Doesn't this just further proves that liberals are the "tolerant, open-minded, loving, accepting of all, group," didn't we know.
