Funny, I thought when CP shut down, I'd stop
getting my regular email updates from the White House, considering I wasn't
bashing the President and his parrots anymore. I quickly discovered I was
wrong because the
emails kept coming and the latest one was an update with a video
about Iraq and how, "we're not at War with ISIS," and one answer to a
reporter's question caught my attention, because in all of this Israel, ISIS
mess, it's a long forgotten Scandal. Maybe you will find it as curious as
I did.
"Wherever and whenever US personnel and facilities are threatened it's my obligation and responsibility, as Commander-in-Chief, to make sure they are protected."
Well, I'd probably believe that line of horse-crap, if he hadn't failed so miserably in Benghazi and now should be held responsible for their lives, as "Commander-in-Chief."
Well now, this is shouldn't come as a shock to anyone, that this is a contradiction to what he said in 2009, "we cannot rid Iraq of every single individuals who opposes America or sympathizes with our adversaries."
I'm sure ISIS would love to know we aren't "at war" with them, as we bomb the crap out of them in Iraq.
President Obama has authorized
the U.S. military to execute targeted airstrikes in Iraq. [with
no endgame and he'll later blame it on Bush, because they forgot Clinton Bombed Iraq first, with Democrat
approval.]
While both are terrorist
forces, they have different ambitions. Al-Qaeda’s principal ambition is to
launch attacks against the west and U.S. homeland. That’s the direct threat
that we have taken direct action against for many years. Right now, ISIL’s
primary focus is consolidating
territory in the Middle East region to establish their own Islamic State. So
they’re different organizations with different objectives.
No. There is no U.S. military solution to the larger situation in Iraq. The United States’ chief goals are to protect our personnel and facilities, and to prevent a potential act of genocide. That is the scope of these operations. As the President said, we will support Iraqis as they take the fight to these terrorists, but no American combat troops will be returning to fight in Iraq.
The thing that slays me most is Hollyweird and the liberal media were only vocal when Bush bombed Iraq, and really vocal later after he declared war on terror when Iraq got tired of us poking them in the eye for years and they brought the war to our land in 9/11.
Where was their Liberal vocal Humanitarian, anti-war outrage during Obama's Libyan war, during Syria or when Democrat Clinton or now when the Democrat Obama is doing the same thing? Liberal hypocrites, before you start pointing the finger at us, you'd better make sure your hands are clean, while you sit closed lipped, hiding in your closet with your own bony skeletons.
