Dinesh D'Souza is a believer in the court system and is thankful that a Democratic judge rejected the prosecution's plea for jail time and opted for probation and community service as the punishment for D'Souza's sneaky method of exceeding political donation caps.
In addition to his five-year probation sentencing and eight months of confinement in a community confinement center -- or restitution center, which will likely be completed in San Diego, California where D'Souza resides -- Judge Berman ordered D'Souza to undergo "therapeutic counseling." Berman also noted that during those five years, D'Souza must carry out community service by teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) for eight hours a day, one day a week.By dismissing jail time, this judge is allowing D'Souza to continue writing books and making documentaries further exposing the progressive agenda. In addition, he will be able to spread his message of the exceptionalism of America and its Founding Fathers to residents in the community confinement center and to new immigrants.
