Polarization was the topic of choice on
Bill Maher's live D.C. show, and of course, if you've ever watched his show,
you know, he's no stranger to polarizing content. However, Friday he became
the pot calling the kettle black and blatantly said that the biggest entity to
blame American polarization on is none other than Fox News. I was shocked to hear Jerry Seinfeld and Governor
Haley Barbour push back.
Maher argued that liberals
“like different,” but conservatives just “want to hear the same things over and
over” with no variety whatsoever. He also got in a dig at MSNBC’s low ratings
compared to Fox (with MSNBC’s own Andrea Mitchell sitting right there at the
table). Continue Reading

The problem with Maher, other than the
fact that he's a liberal, is that Liberals will never understand Conservatives,
just as men will never understand women. Conservatives are often baffled by
liberals too, finding it difficult to understand why they think and act as they
do.
For liberals [progressives], politics and feelings trump principle and thinking; they fight for groups like Muslims and their right to freedom of religious choice, yet tell a Jesus-lovers we are a zealous, narrow-minded, bigots when we don't agree with their view of marriage. They are all for killing a baby in the womb, but want to ban guns from law abiding citizens, even though studies show criminals don't obey the laws that are already on the books, including "Thou shall not commit murder". Oh, yeah, liberals don't read facts or listen to the truth. That just confuses them.
