While
liberals try to destroy the 2nd Amendment right for individuals to defend
themselves in the face of a deadly threat, we see the actual reality of the
absolute necessity for maintaining the 2nd Amendment as an individual right to
keep and bear arms.
Three young men, all
armed with handguns, initiated a home invasion in Lumberton, North Carolina,
expecting to easily control the victims. A 67 year old grandfather,
defending his wife and 19 year old granddaughter decided to stand and fight to
defend his family from what could only be described as a direct threat to the
lives of all three family members.

A Lumberton (NC) man traded gunfire with three men who forced their way into his home, robbed the family, tried to rape his granddaughter and stole his car Monday, Robeson County authorities said.
One of the men, identified as Jamie Faison, 20, was shot and found dead in the stolen Cadillac parked at his home on the 600 block of Singletary Church Road, Sheriff Kenneth Sealey said in a news release.
The two other men turned up at area hospitals with gunshot wounds.

I'm not certain if North Carolina has a felony gun rule, but in those states with such a rule, the two perpetrators of this home invasion would be charged with murder for the death of their co-conspirator. The felony gun rule makes it a crime of murder if anyone is killed in the commission of a felony, whether it be a victim or a perpetrator. The two surviving perpetrators will not be seeing the light of freedom anytime soon, if ever, considering the long list of felony charges that will be brought up against them.
