Surprise, Surprise, Al Sharpton's "Favorability" Rating Plunges to All-Time LOW!

Apparently some New Yorkers have finally begun to see through Al Sharpton's race baiting self promotion.  This begs the question of why it has taken so long to see Sharpton's despicable behavior replayed ad nauseam over the years and decades, which, in some instances, resulted in the deaths of a number of innocent individuals.  Be that as it may, here's the latest view of New Yorkers on Al Sharpton in relation to the race related and anti police activities that have occurred in recent months in New York City.

In what Quinnipiac says is “his lowest score ever” for their polling, Sharpton was viewed negatively by a majority of New Yorkers, scoring a dismal 29/53% favorability rating, with a majority deeming him a “mostly negative force in the city” by his worst percentage yet: Read more of the conflicted political views of New Yorkers in the latest Quinnipiac polling here.  

Sharpton simply cannot be characterized as anything but a low life hate monger and race baiter all to generate personal gain, often through corrupt "shakedown" practices with targeted businesses willing to pay for "racial peace" from Sharpton's community activist organization, the National Action Network. 

The implication is that racial peace can be achieved by Sharpton, if targeted businesses simply contribute to his organization, along with other programs along the lines of racial sensitivity training by businesses with connections to Sharpton.  Most people would call this extortion and I, for one, would be hard pressed to deny such possibilities.

The greater problem is that liberal government actually uses Sharpton and his ilk to further the liberal agenda.  Social strife and friction works to the advantage of liberals who then see the means to gain Democratic voters by playing the race card and claiming it's the Democratic Party that has the backs of minorities.  Unfortunately for minorities, they have been duped by liberals into believing this nonsense for decades.  

Meanwhile, the black community in particular, has not moved forward as a group because they have accepted the political crumbs handed out by the white liberal political elitists establishments in all of America's major inner cities.

Again, the national black community has bought into a belief that it is the liberal Democrats that have their back, when, in reality, a large number of blacks in inner cities are living in poverty or near poverty conditions due to liberals giving them all kinds of social welfare benefits, which tend to sap people of their will to work and succeed on their own.  It's these blacks that don't realize that they have become indentured servants of the Democratic Party and its liberal hierarchy.

USAF Major General threatens A-10 Warthog Airmen with Treason if they "talk"

The A-10, affectionately called the Warthog by those who fly these armored tubs, is in the process of being retired from the Air Force inventory after 30 years of service. 

Here's the problem.  

The A-10 is by far the best close air support for ground troops that has ever been in the USAF inventory.  It is armored like a tank to protect flight crew personnel.  It carries, quite possibly, the greatest range of weaponry of any aircraft in USAF inventory.  There is a weapon for all purposes on board the A-10.  It is perfectly suited for close support of ground troops involved in close combat with enemy forces on the ground.  

The A-10 has proven itself to be the most effective air weapon in fighting terrorists in the Middle East since it was first introduced there in the first Gulf War.  It's engines are on the rear of the air frame and attached close in to the fuselage to protect the engine from enemy small arms fire. The pilot's seat sits in a titanium tub for superior pilot safety from enemy fire.  A-10's have returned from combat missions looking like Swiss Cheese from enemy fire.  Yet they returned intact and with the pilot safe and sound.

That said, it is the Obama administration that wants to retire this weapons system from USAF inventory.  As this process moves along, the following has come to light and it is disturbing to say the least.

Last month, Maj. Gen. James Post warned fellow airmen in Nevada that talking to Congress about the A-10 Thunderbolt could qualify as treason.

“If anyone accuses me of saying this, I will deny it … anyone who is passing information to Congress about A-10 capabilities is committing treason,” Post, vice commander of the Air Combat Command, told an audience of officers at Nellis Air Force Base according to the military blog John Q. We know that Obama has had an ongoing program to cleanse the military officer corps of those who would oppose his plans for the military.  Scores of top ranking officers across the services have been prematurely retired with the excuse that the retirements were due to downsizing.  

According to anonymous sources, those high level officers were retired because they opposed Obama's plans to downsize and weaken the combat readiness of the United States military.  These accusations cannot be ignored as the comments of disgruntled individuals, since these officers were career officers during the times of the U.S. military dominance over all other foreign military forces.

Now we come to the latest reported threat to USAF officers directly involved with the A-10 Warthog.  A Major General in the USAF and the Vice Commander of the Air Combat Command has threatened USAF personnel with treason if they communicate with Congress.  The implication is that those officers, who might think of talking with Congress, might want to think of what it might be like facing a court martial for treason.  Pretty heavy hitting by a USAF officer so high up in the air combat command.  It begs the question of who the general is trying to protect and who he is trying to stifle and precisely why.

SEIU FAIL: SEIU Attacks 'Former' Nevada Congressman for 2016 Election Cycle.

The Service Employees International Union is targeting Republican Senators up for reelection in 2016 and also Republican congressmen in nine states with large Latino voter populations.  The strategy would seem straight forward for a labor union seeking to influence the electoral outcome with support for candidates favorable to their union goals and objectives. 

But here's the one hitch in the SEIU get along.  They chose to attack 'former' congressman Steve Horsford, a one term black congressman from the 4th Congressional District in Nevada, who was defeated, in the November 4, 2014, general election, by Republican Crescent Hardy.  Did you catch that little fact?  Horsford lost to a Republican, since he was an incumbent Democrat running for reelection.

The SEIU is attacking someone who is not currently a member of Congress and is a Democrat, which one would suspect would be very friendly to union concerns.  This raises the question of the SEIU's core competency in identifying political targets to challenge.  Then again, many union administrations have been known to be less than stellar in activities requiring higher levels of cognition.

Here's an SEIU publication attacking Horsford on immigration.  

If Horsford has any intentions of mounting a 2016 election campaign to regain his lost seat in the Nevada 4th CD, he's going to have more than a Republican to face off against, starting with the SEIU.

The SEIU, in keeping with their international communist underpinning's, supports amnesty for illegal immigrants in their quest to unionize these immigrants.

The Gas Tax: Scamming Americans by the gallon.

The gas tax, whether it is the federal gas tax or a state gas tax, is nothing but a liberal

Democrat sham and a fraud on an unsuspecting public.  Liberals have never met a tax they didn't like and didn't want to enact and the gas tax has proven to be a gold mine for growing Big Government.

The original concept of the gas tax was to provide for regular and ongoing maintenance of highways, bridges and associated public works projects related to automotive users.  The idea was for users to pay for the maintenance and upgrading of highway systems, rather than forcing non users to pay for these continuing highway expenses.

It all sounded so reasonable and logical until ... politicians realized that they had a Golden Goose to rob of untold millions and billions of dollars.  It's become a money tree for politicians when they realized they could merely siphon off dollars from the gas tax fund for completely unrelated spending.  And siphon, they did.

President Obama, from day one in office, has beaten the drum on revitalizing our American highway infrastructure as a means to stimulating the economy.  After spending around one trillion dollars to stimulate the American economy, mostly by social welfare means, we find the economy is still underperforming after six years under the direction of our economically challenged president, who insists that Keynesian economics will result in a return to economic normalcy.   It hasn't happened in six years and there is no reason to believe it will happen in Obama's two remaining years in office.

The reason I can say with assurance that Obama's economic illiteracy will not pull America out of its economic malaise is simple.  Government, contrary to Keynesian economic theory, cannot borrow and spend its way to prosperity, since its debt will only drag it, and the American economy, down exponentially going forward. 

The greater the government debt, the more government revenue will necessarily have to be diverted to pay off the interest on the growing debt level, rather than necessary committed entitlement programs.   Government printing of paper money only devalues money already in circulation.  That's why we have seen consumer product costs rising with little attention being paid by politicians on how this has bee adversely affecting Joe Average on Main Street.

Back to the gas tax, federal or state.  Politicians of all stripes have been plundering gas tax funds with convoluted and contorted means to cover their ever expanding budget deficits.  Most Americans would be outraged if they knew how few gas tax dollars were being used for their intended purposes and they should be outraged that Democrats are even talking about raising gas taxes at the federal level.  Now for some good news on this front.

Raising the federal gas tax rate simply won't happen with Republicans controlling both houses of Congress.  Republicans, even RINO's, know that raising the gas tax in light of the fact that the price of gas at the pump has decreased by almost 50%, has been a consumer stimulus not seen for six years under the Obama administration.  

Raising the gas tax at this time would present a stumbling block to the economy and would be a penalty for consumers.  My message to consumers it to enjoy what is essentially a pay raise.  It won't last forever.  When the global economy improves, expect the global market cost of crude oil to go up and hence the cost of gasoline at the pump.

Pollster Zogby Stumbles Upon an Obama Truism - Gives Do Nothing President Report Card of "A"

Do nothing and your polling numbers go up.

It's a sad commentary on President Obama, when his poll numbers seem to go up commensurate with his doing nothing of consequence for America.

Zogby characterized Obama's week in baseball terms.  "No runs, no hits, no errors."  Again, a sad commentary made even worse when Zogby gave Obama a grade of "A" for doing nothing "and is hardly being talked about at all — let alone trashed."  Zogby clearly shows his bias in favor of President Obama with that comment.

Zogby must be saying this with tongue in cheek, since Putin basically owns Obama and there is no substantive reason to believe that Putin is about to roll over for any Obama foreign policy overture.

Another Obama Presidential Folly

President Obama, not satisfied with trying to redistribute wealth in America, is now conspiring with the Castro dictatorship in Cuba to do the same thing to Cuban workers, except worse, much worse.

Just one day before President Obama announced sweeping changes that would allow potential American investment in Cuba, the Cuban government apparently had begun preparing itself by announcing new measures that would allow Cubans who work for foreign companies to keep only 8% of their salaries.

That's no misprint.  Cuban workers working for foreign companies will receive only 8% of their salaries with the Cuban government appropriating the other 92%.  

This skimming of foreign paid salaries by the Cuban government will keep the Cuban dictatorship from failing.  Foreign subsidies from other totalitarian regimes have fallen off markedly in recent years because those foreign subsidizers have, themselves, fallen on hard times.

Obama's unilateral decision to begin trade with Cuba, albeit in a limited manner, will provide an economic life preserver for Cuba, with no reciprocal advantage/s for the United States.  If it weren't for bad deals in foreign policy decisions, Obama would have no foreign policy whatsoever.

Some of the disturbing details.

IF a foreign company has the means to pay more than a Cuban company, the worker will receive the same salary as if he were working for a Cuban company, and the government will pocket the rest.

It should be clear by now that Obama's plan to open up trade with Cuba to benefit the Cuban people in a hope that this will promote greater levels of democracy, is actually worse than a pipe dream.  It will do the exact opposite as it props up one of the most egregious human rights violators in the world.  Keep in mind that Cuban government has an estimated 8,000 political dissidents held in Cuban prisons and an additional 50,000 Cubans working in 'reeducation camps' for political activities opposing the dictatorial Cuban regime of the Brothers Grimm, aka the murderous Castro brothers.

In addition to the 92% of salaries being pocketed by the Cuban government, Cuban government employment offices will charge 20% of the salary of each worker they connect to the corporation for the service of finding said corporation employees. Raul Castro, in his speech immediately following the release of USAID worker Alan Gross and one other unidentified American, made it abundantly clear that the Cuban government made no other promises on trade, foreign investment or any other issue. 

Final score:  Cuba 1 - USA 0.  Another Obama foreign policy failure in a long unbroken list of foreign policy failures.  Who knew that an American president could be such a consistent failure in foreign policy?

Time Stands Still for Founding Fathers Samuel Adams and Paul Revere

In what may only be of interest to history and political buffs, comes this news from Boston, Massachusetts. I'm hoping there are more items of greater interest other than a few coins and old newspapers. 

I would hope for historical events memorialized by the personal recollections of these Founding Fathers contemporaneous with the time and events which preceded the sequestration of this time capsule.

A time capsule buried in 1795 by Paul Revere and Samuel Adams was unearthed Thursday in Boston at the Massachusetts Statehouse, possibly the oldest such U.S. artifact ever uncovered.

About the size of a cigar box, the copper container — green from oxidation and caked in plaster — was found in the cornerstone of the "new" statehouse on Beacon Hill, which was completed in 1798.

As Boston Museum of Fine Arts Conservator Pam Hatchfield chiseled away for hours to free the box, five silver coins spilled from the stone block — measures of good luck tossed in when the capsule was entombed by the revolutionary heroes 219 years ago, officials told the Boston Globe. At the time, Adams was known as the governor, not a beer.

The world will have to wait a little longer to learn what's inside. The museum will X-ray the box over the weekend and reveal its contents next week. Read more USA Today here  

FAIL: Negotiations with Iran over Halting their Nuclear Weapons Development have Stopped.

News all over the media indicates that America and its allies have failed to achieve a negotiated settlement with Iran to stop their uranium enrichment, which is obviously meant to achieve weapons grade material to develop one or more nuclear weapons.  It doesn't take a genius to understand that the negotiations with Iran over their nuclear weapons development was destined to fail.

Once again, the government of Iran has played the United States and its allies for the fools they are.  Time is the enemy of those seeking to prevent Iran from acquiring weapons grade uranium.  

Conversely, time is the ally of Iran.  The longer they can keep stringing out the western allies in negotiations, the closer they come to their goal, which is a nuclear weapon that can be delivered in one of their intermediate ballistic missiles.

Iran has developed ballistic missiles which can reach Europe and, if deployed on a ship, can easily come within striking distance of most of America's most vital centers.  The Islamic terrorist leadership of the Iranian government has a much longer time frame for their ultimate success than most people in the west can understand.  Similar to the Chinese outlook, the terrorists leading Iran thinks in terms of multiple generations, to achieve their goals, which the western allies have difficulty in grasping.

Meanwhile, the Obama administration continues to play into the Iranian game, all the while posturing to the world that the allies have successfully used economic sanctions to forestall Iran's development of one or more nuclear weapons.  Rather than continuing and expanding the economic sanctions on Iran, the allies lead by President Obama, have actually reduced the economic sanctions against Iran, with the excuse that such action was meant to entice Iran to return to negotiations and realize it is in Iran's best interest to return to a state of non nuclear development, thus enjoying economic opportunities for their national growth.

The problem with this thinking is that it does not take into account the willingness of the Iranian terrorist regime to take Iran into oblivion, sanctions or not.  The Iranian regime simply has a fatalistic view that it will ultimately prevail or go down taking untold numbers of innocent victims with it.  

The western allies need to understand the perspective of the Iranian regime and realize it may well take a concerted effort to militarily stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.  It should be obvious to even our dimwitted president that Iran will, if not physically stopped, develop nuclear weapons to threaten Israel, the western allies and even their neighbors in the Middle East.

Iran's goal is simply to exercise overwhelming hegemony over the entire Middle East.  In addition Iran has a demonstrated messianic mindset to literally wipe Israel off the face of the earth to advance Islam and Iran's own worldwide self image.  Having lived and worked in Iran in the early 1970's, I can attest to the fact that Iranians have a very strong view of their 2000 year plus Persian heritage dating back to their world advances, which were close to the size and extent of the Roman Empires.

All that said, when you are dealing with religious zealots, the likes of which we see in the leadership of Iran, reason is not part of any settlement equation that can ever hope to be achieved by western standards. 

Self-Promoting Parents and Celebrities Grieve over Michael's Lost Life, by Promoting Themselves

Apparently the grieving process is a distant third when there’s money to be made and fame to be gained.  Michael Brown's parents have been hitting the celebrity circuits of talk shows and even managed a European trip to speak to a United Nations forum on human rights recently.  

They've schmoozed with celebrities like Snoop Dog.  They've hung out with liberal politicians and race baiters like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.  They've basked in the limelight of celebrity show time.

What they haven't had time for is providing their son Michael with any grave marking whatsoever.  That's right.  Michael Brown, Jr. is moldering in an unmarked grave with no headstone or grave marker plaque.  Read more at CNN.com

Meanwhile the Brown's are more interested in marketing the tragic loss of their son's life and death.  What's worse is that their marketing has erupted in violence within their own family that will likely result in criminal charges being brought against one or more family members.

Vigilante Mob Justice in Ferguson: Do it our Way or Pay a Heavy Price in Violence and Destruction of Businesses.

On August 9, 2014, 18 year old Michael Brown, Jr., an unarmed 300 pound black teenager was shot by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson and died at the scene.  Witness testimony varies from a murder by the police office to the officer's reaction to a violent Michael Brown, Jr. who attacked him in his squad car causing injuries to the officer.

Three different official autopsies were conducted, one by the St. Louis County coroner, a second under the auspices of the Federal Department of Justice and a third autopsy by a private criminal pathologist hired by the Brown family.  Only the private autopsy results were revealed to the public and they were rather inconclusive to say the least.

Meanwhile, the St. Louis County Grand Jury, which has been hearing the evidence presented by the St. Louis County District Attorney's Office one day a week since August 20th, is on the cusp of revealing its findings at any moment.  The Grand Jury could either issue an indictment for a crime within the laws of homicide or declare there is insufficient probable cause to issue any charge against officer Wilson.

All the while the Grand Jury has been meeting, protests in Ferguson, Missouri and all around St. Louis County, have erupted, all seemingly seeking vigilante justice and nothing less than a charge of 1st murder to be brought against officer Wilson.  Protesters of all kinds have come from all over America to further their own political and social agendas.  Each group is using the circumstances of Michael Brown's death for their own purposes, with little real regard for the truth of why Michael Brown, Jr. died that hot August day, 10 minutes after committing a strong arm robbery of a convenience store only blocks away from where Brown would meet his fateful end in less than a minute.

Protests involving violence and destruction of business properties has devastated Ferguson.  Protesters have created a manifesto for law enforcement to follow with their actions directed toward protesters.  Law enforcement has logically had to decline to follow these rules of engagement with protesters and announced they would follow their own rules of professional conduct in maintaining public order safety.

What is unusual and incomprehensible is the fact that the protesters have generated a list of dozens of entities that will experience the wrath of these protesters all ostensibly to "make whites feel uncomfortable".  Protesters claim their protests will be non-violent, but when they list Anheuser-Bush, Monsanto, and a dozen corporate headquarters to conduct protests at, a rational person can only wonder what relevance these protests of corporations have in relation to Michael Brown, Jr's. death.

The answer is that these outside protest leaders have their own agendas that have little to nothing to do with what happened in Ferguson and have everything to do with achieving ultra radical liberal outcomes that will result in civil disorder and ultimately a rebellion over their claims of rampant racism, not only in Ferguson, but throughout America.

What we are looking at are not reasonable protests using simple civil disobedience as a means to achieve changes in public attitudes and substantive changes in police practices.  What we have seen in Ferguson, and we will possibly see in far greater protests in and around Ferguson, is organized mob anarchy and vigilante justice, which is the justice of what the mob determines at any given moment.  It's similar to a rabid pack of wild dogs targeting a victim, without regard for anything else, other than to subdue and destroy the victim through violence.

Minnesota Congressional Election Bitch Slaps Political Propagandist Bill Maher

For reasons only known to self described comedian and wanna be political propagandist Bill Maher himself, reality has slapped Maher up the side of the head in a recent Minnesota election.

Maher must have thought he could be a liberal force sufficient to turn the tide against evil Republican Congressman John Kline.  It didn't happen.  In fact Maher could have been the force to actually propel Kline to a larger win than he may have otherwise achieved without Maher's help.  You see, Maher supported Kline's Democrat opponent, who went on to lose big time.

TV comedian Bill Maher thought he could intervene in the election and defeat him (Kline). It was a pathetic and uninformed effort (Maher didn’t even know who Kline’s Democratic opponent was). Kline reacted accordingly, raising campaign funds from Maher’s hapless folly and publicizing the comedian’s intrusion into the race. Kline won in a 17-point landslide.

It's uncertain what impact Maher had on the election, but when a candidate handpicked for support by Bill Maher loses by 17 points and the notable Bill Maher has any part in the election, a reasonable person might be lead to believe that interloper Maher brought bad Karma to the election.

Perhaps Maher will be a little more selective in who he supports in future elections.  It would appear that not only Kline's opponent got bitch slapped on November 4th, but Karma reached around to kiss Maher with something other than a love tap.

CNN states the obvious: Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA); 'Dead Democrat Walking.'

In what has been known now for months and which was confirmed on November 4th,  Louisiana career politician Mary Landrieu's political ship is dead in the water, taking on water faster than she can bale and is about to capsize and sink on December 6th.  

Louisiana has an open general election.  If a candidate garners more than 50% in that general election, they are declared the winner.  

If no candidate receives 50% in the general election, the top two vote getters face off in a subsequent election.  And that's where Mary Landrieu and Republican Congressman, Dr. Bill Cassidy find themselves.

Landrieu actually received about 43% of the November 4th vote count with Cassidy right behind her with 42%.  The kicker in this situation is that the Tea Party candidate received 16%.  The Tea Party candidate has now thrown his support to Dr. Cassidy, which essentially accounts for the polling showing Dr. Cassidy ahead of Ms. Landrieu by 16 points.  

With Dr. Cassidy's victory, the Republican senatorial count will rise to a majority of 54.  Current Republican Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, has already been elected by the Senate Republican caucus to be the next Senate Majority leader for the new congress, which will be sworn in on January 3, 2015.

Mary Landrieu: Politically Dead Woman Walking

Mary Landrieu is in the deepest political trouble of her life long career in elected political office.  The architect of the "Louisiana Purchase", which she traded for her Obamacare vote, is more than likely looking at her last weeks as a United States Senator.

Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu is trailing her Republican challenger by a giant 16-point margin in a runoff for one of Louisiana's two U.S. Senate seats, according to poll results obtained by MailOnline.

The survey, commissioned by GOP Rep. Bill Cassidy's campaign, was leaked to media in order to fire a shot over the senator's bow and send a signal to energy lobbyists that her ship is taking on water.

It suggests that Democrats' worst fears have been realized even though Landrieu edged Casssidy by 1 percentage point on Election Day.

Granted, this was a Republican poll, but does it really make any difference if Cassidy beats Landrieu by 6 points or 16 points?  The result would be the same.  Landrieu out and Cassidy in.


Landrieu is not yet dead in the water.  She didn't get to be a three term United States Senator without developing sharp political skills.  Here's Mary's last chance.

Landrieu has lined up for what Republican Capitol Hill aides are calling the 'Hail Mary XL,' a legislative strategy to save her Senate seat by winning a vote to approve the Keystone XL pipeline, which would bring 700,000 barrels of oil daily from the Canadian province of Alberta to the Gulf coast.

Whether this will be enough to turn around Landrieu's chances for re-election in the runoff election on December 6th is still problematical.

She may get her chance on Tuesday if she can find 14 other Democrats in the lame-duck Senate to join her in backing the project's construction. All 45 Republicans have already signed on. 

As of Thursday one whip count shared with MailOnline found that she was just two votes short, giving her a 58 of the 60 votes she will need to override Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's objections and force a roll call. Continue reading DailyMail

Landrieu, like Sisyphus, has a steep uphill battle to convince her own party to support her quest to pass a vote on the XL Pipeline Project to bring heavy crude oil down from Canada.  

The eco-fascists are lined up against such a vote and Reid and the Obama administration are opposed to passage of a bill that would bypass the Obama administration, as they are afraid of losing the support of the enviro-Nazi lobby and their hefty financial contributions to all things liberal.

Even if such a bill were to pass, would it really have any effect on Landrieu's quest for re-election?  It seems to most political observers to be too little, too late.

Democrat Party Suffers its High Disapproval Rating, while Republicans Enjoy a Rising Approval Rating

Not surprisingly, the Democrat brand across America has suffered a significant blow to its approval rating according to Gallup's latest polling.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- After the midterm elections that saw the Democratic Party suffer significant losses in Congress, a record-low 36% of Americans say they have a favorable opinion of the party, down six percentage points from before the elections. The Republican Party's favorable rating, at 42%, is essentially unchanged from 40%. This marks the first time since September 2011 that the Republican Party has had a higher favorability rating than the Democratic Party. Read much more Gallup.com here

The elections actually have spoken more clearly than even the Gallup polling, since they are tangible facts that are irrefutable.  Republicans have opened the margin of approval considerably.  Now they have to demonstrate that those who voted for Republicans were not mistaken in doing so.  

Republicans cannot rest upon the outcome of the recent elections to believe they have some kind of mandate from voters.  Rather, they have been given a challenge by voters to turn America around from a failing and floundering leadership to a leadership of those who will actually move America along a more traditional path and direction of economic growth and world leadership.

Going forward and looking at the 2016 presidential election campaign cycle, we see the Democrat candidate bench as being old and tired in Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.  Elizabeth Warren, a relative newcomer in national Democratic politics, is a far left radical liberal and unlikely to motivate a national electorate with her outrageous rhetorical rants on time worn and thread bare liberal talking points.  Fauxcohontas, aka Dizzy Lizzy Warren, will simply not cut it on a national level.

The Republican success in this year's congressional midterm elections has been due in great part to the party presenting top quality candidates that could distinguish themselves from their Democrat opponents.  Was this skill or pure happenstance?  Only time will tell.

The Republican challenge in 2016 is to replicate this success of 2014 by fielding great electable candidates, especially at the presidential level.  The greatest challenge to the Republican Party is getting away from the seniority system of selecting candidates by their party tenure, rather than by their real ability to win head to head contests against Democrat candidates.  This is an absolute must for selecting a presidential candidate.  Will the Republican establishment be able to adapt to this necessary new model?  Only time will tell.
