Hypocrisy defined: Saying one thing, while maintaining a contrary position. See: Anything said by a liberal.

By Rob Janicki

Seattle-based group The Freedom Socialist Party, which owns socialism.com and regularly campaigns for a $15/hour minimum wage, advertised a job on Wednesday that offers just $13 an hour.

Meanwhile, more protesters are marching against Wal-Mart for the same result, a minimum wage of $15 per hour.  I was watching the news and saw an old socialist complain that so many of Wal-Mart's employees are eligible for public assistance, as if that somehow automatically demanded a $15 an hour wage.  The reason that many Wal-Mart employees might qualify for public assistance is that they are PART TIME employees who play the liberal game of milking government for what they can while working as little as they can.

Additionally, many of these part time employees at Wal-Mart are also students who cannot work full time and still go to school.  Many are living at home and receiving the benefits of their family's room and board generosity.

In any event, the arbitrary demand to raise wages without a commensurate raising of productivity is nothing more than organized extortion, which unions call collective bargaining.  If these idiots want $15 an hour in wages, let them try and organize Wal-Mart employees and then bargain with Wal-Mart Management.  It's been tried before and has failed at every attempt.  This should be the end of the story, but you just know it won't be.
