Who really are the racists?

By Rob Janicki

Liberals always paint the political right with the label of "racist." They do it so often, at virtually every turn, that it has become the "Big Lie" that is now ingrained in the public psyche.  The bigger the lie and the more often it is said, the greater the likelihood that it becomes a part of the culture's collective memory stored away as a "fact."

That has always been a common tactic for liberals.  It's akin to the old ploy of. "When did you stop beating your wife?" -  an accusation which implies that at one time you beat your wife and thus you are evil.  This tactic puts the opposition on the defensive at the outset of virtually every discussion, debate or oral argument.

It's simply false logic to be sure, but to the low-information voter, this kind of tactic often sways their thinking, especially if they have a built-in bias fed to them by liberals who paint the political right as the oppressors seeking to deny these same people their rights and entitlements.  Thus, when liberals call conservatives, or anyone on the political right, racists and do it often enough, some people actually buy in to that trope as if it is indeed a fact.  It simply supports and confirms their preconceived world view of conservatives as being evil racists.

In the latest video from Prager University, Derryck Green of Project 21 takes on the idea that political liberals are tolerant while conservatives are racist.

"To call someone a racist is a serious charge. A racist is someone who believes that one person is superior (or inferior) to another person simply based on their skin color. It’s a belief that is both foolish and stupid," explains Prager University. "But conservatives are accused by progressives of being racist on an almost daily basis. Is it a fair accusation? Or, is it just political posturing? And, if it is political posturing, what does it say about the people making the charge?"

Who are the racists? Watch the video analysis from Derryck Green and then decide.
