Atheists and Biblical Movies: "Exodus God and Kings"

If you don't like the Bible, change it ... it seems to be the Atheists away. I'm beginning to believe that the Atheists are enjoying rewriting the Bible and confusing nonbelievers, at whim.  Remember the unbiblical Noah?  Well get ready for Christian Bale in Atheist Ridley Scott's production of, "Exodus God and Kings." Even Bale, who read the Kohran to get ready for the Role of Moses, and he himself describes his role of Moses as, "schizophrenic" and "one of the most barbaric individuals I have ever read."

This movie is due to hit theaters December 12, and although it has a Biblical name, there won't be a Biblical bone in its body.  The "Parting of the Red Sea" isn't going to be parted by God [stop reading now if you're actually planning on watching this Hollywood production], Scott has other plans.

  

"You can't just do a giant parting, with walls of water trembling while people ride between them," Scott said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, referring to the film "The Ten Commandments."

"I didn't believe it then, when I was just a kid sitting in the third row. I remember that feeling, and thought that I'd better come up with a more scientific or natural explanation," Scott added.

Scott's solution came from a deep dive into the history of Egypt circa 3000 B.C, the magazine notes. After reading that a massive underwater earthquake off the coast of Italy caused a tsunami, he thought about how water recedes as a prelude to such disasters.

"I thought that logically, [the parting] should be a drainage. And that when [the water] returns, it comes back with a vengeance," he told the magazine. Read more ChristianPost

Of course, the water should "drain" instead of part by God, and in Ridley Scott's "logically anti-God world" it would return from ... where? I guess liberals will magically fill in the blank for him, because they don't believe in God?  Truth is a funny thing, it doesn't care if you believe it, it's still truth. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that neither he nor God existed.  

So, if you are planning to go see this movie, expecting to see a Biblical movie, as you did with Son of God or God is not Dead, don't hold your breath.  This is man's attempt at Hollywoodizing and rewriting the Bible, and not a wise thing to do, I might add.

Bailey's Pizza Parlor 10% Church Discount gives Atheist's Indigestion

So, now a 10% discount is "discrimination," not marketing, if this private offers a discount to church's that show their church bulletin on Sunday.  Thanks to the busy body group, Freedom from Religion, who are crying "religious discrimination."

An atheist group is going after a small-town Arkansas pizza place for offering discounts to customers who brought in church bulletins on Sundays.

Wisconsin-based Freedom from Religion Foundation sent a letter to Steven Rose, the owner of Bailey's Pizza in Searcy, Ark., warning him that his pizza parlor's offer to knock 10% off churchgoers' tabs amounted to discrimination, local KTHV-TV reported.

The nonprofit claimed the self-described "old school country" restaurant was violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which requires business to offer services regardless of race, color, religion or national origin, the group said.

Rose told FOX News he was stung by the threat.

"It was a straight-up marketing tool to give a discount to people I love and care about, and have them come in and have lunch with me," he said. "I thought it was a sweet idea."  Read more NYDaily News

So, since this 10% discount is considered "discrimination," then it must also be discrimination to the Veterans, teachers, college students, police, and Senior Citizens that he gives discounts to as well, right? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, and if one group loses their discount, they must all lose their discounts.

Unfortunately, since the busy-body Atheists have gotten involved, this kind-hearted business owner has received death threats and a bomb threats.  Doesn't this just further proves that liberals are the "tolerant, open-minded, loving, accepting of all, group," didn't we know.

Atheists are at it Again - GA High School told to Punt Pre-game Prayer & Banners

Atheists bully much? It seems that the Atheists have their panties in a wad again, this time over Chestatee High School's practice of pre-game prayers and their banners.  If we saw a motivational banner which read:

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up," and a banner "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another," would our first thought go to, "these Bible thumpers are preaching at me?"

Oh no, it's the Football coaches leading the War Eagles that caused the Atheist group to threaten to sue Hall Country schools, if they didn't remove the Bible Verses and stop praying on the field.

Miller, whose organization sent a letter Tuesday threatening to sue Hall County Schools, said a “concerned citizen” notified the national nonprofit group that the 1,200-student school in Gainesville, about 55 miles northeast of Atlanta, appeared to be doing an end run around the First Amendment. The letter demanded that coaches cut team-sanctioned prayers and remove all Bible verses and other religious messages from team documents and materials.

The group was particularly outraged that outgoing Head Coach Stan Luttrell joined players as they held hands and prayed.

“At times, the head coach has led the prayers, which is an egregious violation of the Establishment Clause,” the letter continues. “This involvement in prayer as a ‘participant, an organizer, and a leader’ would unquestionably ‘lead a reasonable observer to conclude that he was endorsing religion.’”

The letter cited numerous cases of coaches and teachers leading team prayers during practices and after games and said the program cited scripture...

“Unfortunately, the school’s actions in unconstitutionally advancing and endorsing religion do not end with the prayers,” read the letter. Read more Foxnews

So, that would lead me to ask, why are Jesus loving Christians the only ones who are being singled out and being told that they are no longer free to openly express their faith and devotion to our God, but we don't see this Administration or society telling Muslims that they can't worship their faith in the way they are custom to, to the point that we've watched them kill homosexuals and Christians in other Countries we continue to fund, all in the name of Allah and their Religious Jihad. Yet we don't see Muslims here telling them that's wrong. Silence and continued support screams implied consent. 

Atheists Get Navy to Remove Donated Bibles from Lodges and Hotels

From a Biblical perspective I understand why Christians are going to be hated and persecuted, even in America, but from a worldly perspective I don't understand the Atheist's profound hostility towards the Christian's undying faith, to the point where we aren't just the target of their disdain but we've become their punching bag.  

From teaming up with the IRS to forcing the Navy to remove all of the donated Bibles from their Hotels and lodges, something that has been comforting travelers, soldiers and their families for decades.

Military chaplains are calling for donated Bibles to be allowed in Navy lodges after an atheist group successfully lobbied to have them removed.

The atheist nonprofit Freedom from Religion Foundation sent a letter to the Navy complaining about the Bibles back in March. The Bibles had been donated by various Christian charities, including the famous Gideons International, who have distributed nearly 2 million Bibles to hotels, motels, hospitals, schools and prisons since its founding in 1908. This shocking discovery was brought to their attention by two FFRF member servicemen who noted that “nearly every Navy lodging room” they’d stayed in over the course of their careers contained a Bible.

“Providing bibles to guests in Navy-run hotels amounts to a government endorsement of that religious text,” the letter explains. “Including bibles sends the message to non-Christian and non-religious guests that they should read the bible… Such a practice alienates non-Christian guests whose religious beliefs are inconsistent with the message being promoted by the bibles, including the 20% of the U.S. population that is nonreligious.”

The Navy responded a few months later, ordering the Navy Lodge General Manager to “remove religious material currently in the guest rooms.”

“By removing bibles from Navy-run lodges, the Navy has taken a step to ensure that it is not sending the impermissible message that Christians are favored over guests with other religious beliefs or over those guests with no religion,” said FFRF Staff Attorney Sam Grover at the time.

Now a chaplain advocacy group is speaking out.

“A Bible in a hotel room is no more illegal than a chaplain in the military,” said former chaplain Col. Ron Crews, currently Executive Director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty. “There is nothing wrong with allowing the Gideons to place Bibles in Navy lodges, which it has done for decades at no cost to the Navy. Our service men and women are often away from home, sometimes for long periods of time. It’s perfectly constitutional and legal to allow the Gideons to provide, at their own expense, this source of comfort for service men and women of faith.”  Read more Dailycaller: 

The Gideons, for decades, have placed a Bible in the bedside drawer stand of the Navy lodges

and hotels and thousands of other hotels around the USA and throughout the world.  These Bibles don't "force" the temporary resident, whatever their religion may be, to open the drawer and read the Word within it, or even to accept it if they should.  If they open the drawer, see the Bible and wish not to open the Cover, it's their Right to close the drawer, never to look upon the Bible again.  So, why is this UnGodly group being so narrow-minded and intolerant.  Oh, I know - liberals are supposed to be the "most tolerant and open-minded," yet we see here they are far from it and far from gracious and loving.
