DC Democrats Know, Obama and His Democrat Administration is Disasterous for America

It's sad when the truth comes out, only after the Demonrats want they know their neck and seat is on the line and now they need their constituent's vote or they're going home and the Republicans will very well take the Senate. Then, if and when they get to the Hill, they go back to their "fall-in-line" party ways.

We are used to hearing our feckless "leader" Obama complain about being verbally attacked by the GOP, and I'm sure we've all seen our share of campaign ads recently:

• “It may be that President Obama’s disastrous leadership will be the wake-up call we needed.”
  
• “Our president is so disengaged. I mean, it’s all pizza and, you know, pool and political cash. He has checked out as being president, as a leader.”
  
• “[The Obama administration] protected Wall Street. Not families who were losing their homes. Not people who lost their jobs. And it happened over and over and over.”
  
• “That mission [taking out ISIS] has been lost.”
  
• “We’re not supposed to start a war without Congress.”
  
• “The administration’s policies are simply wrong, when it comes to oil and gas production in this nation.”
  
• “No,” when asked if Obama had shown strong leadership."
  
• “[Obama] has no sense of gratitude, no sense of loyalty, no sense of even courtesy, [no] sense of decency.”

Before the liberals start jumping on the, "see, the GOP are evil and bashing Obama, because he's black;" not one of these quotes came from a Republican's mouth. No, not one, they came from Democrats; six senators, a congresswoman, a columnist, a magazine editor, a pollster and an academic, and these were just a few of the bunch, there were actually more.  Read them here.

They are far from alone.

In fact, the ever-expanding list of those criticizing Obama includes his own former Cabinet members, his former senior adviser, talk-show hosts, anti-war activists and even two former Democrat presidents.

Obama’s spectacular fall from grace is evidenced by the about-face of so many of his supporters.  In 2009, Newsweek’s then-Editor at Large Evan Thomas anointed Obama as “sort of God.”

This month, Newsweek said: “[T]he president remains a drag for his party. He’s barely been invited to campaign with members. His role in the race is as a punching bag for Republicans and as an off-camera fund-raiser for Democrats.”

The president’s approval rating began to nosedive at the start of last year and now has been abysmal for months. Obama has fallen from a 69 percent approval rating when he took office in January 2009 to 38 percent in September. He is now mired at 41.7 percent.  Continue Reading WND

However, Obama will never admit that his fall from popularity is his doing, it's all because of us evil terrorist Tea Partiers and of course, FOX news.  In his mind it has everything to do with the black half of his heritage and nothing to do with his failed policies, or his Empiric, spineless, Marxist, leaderless attitude.

Harry Reid Bends Over & Screws his fellow Democrats & Himself

This is just too good to pass up, although it appears to have gone unnoticed by the MSM.  Harry Reid managed to screw himself and Democrats in one less than swift political move.  This is what happens when a weasel tries to out think a raccoon or whatever you call those establishment Republicans these days.

After all his complaints about Republican obstruction this year, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid expressed frustration last night after Republicans helped guarantee a floor vote on a measure he supports.

Actually, Reid was simply trying to put Republicans in a bad light as obstructionists once again, but he got caught in his own trap  I am quite certain that when Republicans agreed to vote for Reid's Bill, he must have become apoplectic.  So what was the Bill that Republicans voted on to debate?

The Nevada Democrat has accused Senate Republicans of chicanery for voting to advance to the Senate floor a Democratic constitutional amendment allowing Congress to regulate all campaign speech and spending.

Now why would Reid object to this, since some very liberal Democrats have been kicking this topic around for month?  The answer is actually quite simple.  The Republicans somehow actually managed to do some strategic planning that didn't backfire for a change.

After Monday's bipartisan 79-18 vote, Reid vented to reporters that Republicans were trying to "stall" the Senate, indicating that he never intended for the campaign finance amendment by Sen. Tom Udall, D-N.M., to go to a real floor debate.

Please reread the above paragraph.  Reid never expected that Republicans would agree to vote to bring  such a ridiculous Bill to the Senate floor to debate,   Oops!

The simple explanation for Reid's apoplexy is that the Republicans can now take up valuable floor time on the Senate floor debating the Bill and this will substantially reduce Reid's opportunity to put forth other real legislation Democrats want to act on before the November 4th congressional midterm elections.

Politico reporter Burgess Everett writes that many Republicans voted to advance the amendment Monday in order “to foul up Democrats’ pre-election messaging schedule, freezing precious Senate floor time for a measure that ultimately has no chance of securing the two-thirds support necessary in both the House and Senate to amend the Constitution.”

The move not only guarantees a lengthy debate over Democratic efforts to limit the First Amendment, but it also limits the amount of time left for debates over other doomed measures on gender pay equality and the minimum wage, which were intended to frame the coming elections for Democrats as they defend their Senate majority.
