Emperor Obama - If he Can't Grab the Guns, He'll Grab the Ammo

By now, we'd better chalk this up as a learning experience people.  When a politician sells a line of BS, and a Patriot tells us, "but wait, he once said he was against the Constitution." DON'T come back with, "Oh, but he didn't mean that," just because you get all warm and fuzzy.

Remember when Obama was "Constitutionally for the 2nd Amendment and Marriage was 'between a man and a woman?" Well, the morphing Obama today has decided that, if he can't ban the gun, he'll try to ban the ammo.

What, have you heard, Obama is now attempting to ban ammo for the AR-15, in an attempt to ban the gun itself, hoping to render it "useless."  This in itself shines a glaring light on his empiric liberal logic and disdain for the Constitution and American People.

President Obama’s drive to ban a popular form of ammunition used in the AR-15 and other rifles is drawing new fire from conservative groups representing gun owners as well as members of Congress.

A lawsuit has been threatened by the Second Amendment Foundation, which says the ploy is a backdoor attempt to do what the administration has failed to do through legislation — ban the AR-15. But the battle is heating up on both sides of the issue in Congress.

Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., has sent a letter to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, or ATF, demanding an explanation for the proposed ban.

Goodlatte’s letter opposing the ban has the support of 238 House members. He called the ban “preposterous.”

Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, D-N.Y., a proponent of efforts to curb “gun violence,” is circulating a letter to members in support of the bureau’s bid to classify the 5.56mm M855 round as “armor piercing” and take it off the market, the Washington Examiner reported.

“It is prudent to consider the likely use of ammunition in these non-sporting handguns, and the danger they present to law enforcement officers and our communities,” Maloney said in the letter.

Maloney fought to ban the AR-15 rifle and similar weapons in a failed attempt back in 2013. Conservatives see the latest move by the Obama administration as a sneaky attempt to do the same thing, rendering the weapons effectively useless by removing ammunition from the market.

The Second Amendment Foundations’ general counsel sent a letter to the ATF Director B. Todd Jones Wednesday warning that legal action will be taken to bar any change in the law regarding the ammunition used in America’s most popular sporting rifle.

Writing for SAF, general counsel Miko Tempski informed Jones:

“This proposal is just an attempt to limit firearms rights because the president’s other such attempts have been blocked through constitutional checks and balances on his power.

“Should the BATFE lawlessly proceed on this path,” Tempski warns, “SAF intends to call on those checks and balances to stop the administration’s executive overreach again.”  Read more WND

How stupid does he really believe we are, when most of the shootings aren't done with this "scary rifle" but with the smaller, easier to conceal hand guns? If gun bans worked, why are there murders in prison and why were there 21 school shootings during our first attempt at an assault weapons ban in the 80s? Yet, here we go again, trying to "ban the evil gun?"  If people actually paid attention, you'd notice, a lot of hand guns were used, not the "evil rifle," so will Obama next ban .38mm and .9mm ammo next and what about knives?

Don't think that the Gaffing Dr. Carson - who has thrown his hat in the 2016 ring - will do any better or protect your 2nd Amendment rights.  "Founding Fathers are Terrorists," "Being Gay is a Choice" "Our Government is like Nazi Germany," and "Semi-Automatic Guns (COLT 9mm M1911 and Smith and Wesson .38 revolver) don't belong in the hands of people [like you and me, law-abiding citizens] who live in a large urban city."

The irony isn't lost on me. Obama's continually shoving Obamacare down our throats as, "the Law of the Land, just accept it."  However, slavery was once, "the law of the land," and that was changed, by the Radical Republicans, and our second amendment has been "the Law of the Land" a lot longer than Obamacare, there are more people enrolled with the NRA than Obamacare and yet he won't "accept it" and drop this dog and pony show.
